The ZoomCam Speech is a portable video magnifier in the form of a compact, foldable camera.
It is a ZoomCam with read-aloud function.
It can be connected to a laptop, tablet, or monitor.
Depending on the screen size, the magnification ranges from 1.1 to 94.5 times.
To enhance contrast, there are 28 color combinations to choose from and a photo mode with true color reproduction.
The ZoomCam Speech read-aloud function reads entire pages without pauses by shifting the text.
As the text shifts, the new text is recorded and the ZoomCam Speech continues reading.
The ZoomCam Speech maintains the best possible overview of the text.
There is no need to switch between magnification and read-aloud mode. The device always displays the actual video image, preserving the layout of titles, columns, and photos.
The ZoomCam Speech is equipped with a reading camera and a distance camera. The camera moves in two dimensions, making it easy to switch between reading and viewing from a distance.
The camera can be manually rotated to find the most suitable reading position.
The ZoomCam Speech remembers specific preference settings for reading and viewing from a distance.
You can operate the ZoomCam Speech with a simple remote control featuring colored, high-contrast buttons.
Use the reading mode to magnify books and documents. Use the distance mode to view the blackboard, a presentation, or yourself in the mirror (shaving, applying makeup, or grooming) with the ZoomCam Speech.
The ZoomCam Speech has built-in, adjustable LED lighting.
Distracting backgrounds such as newspaper can be filtered out for optimal contrast.
When connected to a computer, full-screen or split-screen viewing is possible with SuperNova 15.03 (or later) and ZoomText 10 (or later).
The ZoomCam is compatible with all common operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS, iPadOS, Android, and Chrome OS. The image resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels (full HD) and the camera's maximum viewing angle is 23 cm.
